Engagement Session in Downtown Tampa: Kirsten and Larry

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Kirsten and Larry’s engagement session in the heart of downtown Tampa. This sweet, laid-back couple embodies an easy kind of love that’s truly heartwarming. Their goofy, fun-loving nature made this session one to remember, and I’m beyond excited to be officiating their wedding soon!

A Sweet and Goofy Love

Kirsten and Larry’s connection is palpable. They bring out the best in each other, and their ability to be silly and carefree is infectious. From playful piggyback rides to spontaneous dance-offs in the middle of the street, their session was a true reflection of their joyful and adventurous spirits. Downtown Tampa provided the perfect backdrop with its vibrant murals, charming streets, and beautiful waterfront views.

A Fun Little Adventure

Every engagement session has its unique moments, but this one had a little extra twist. Just as we were about to start, I had a minor mishap—I curbed my tire. Juggling the tow truck contact and arranging the fix while capturing beautiful moments was a bit of a challenge, but Kirsten and Larry’s sweet and understanding nature made it so much easier.

Thank goodness for AAA and their efficient mechanics! Within the hour, the mechanic replaced my tire with the spare, allowing me to complete the session with speed and very little fuss. He made it so easy to continue without worry, and we all finished up at the same time. I was able to head home happy, knowing we had captured some amazing memories.

Why I Can’t Wait for Their Wedding

While I won’t be behind the camera on their big day, I am incredibly honored to be officiating Kirsten and Larry’s wedding. Their love story is one that I cherish deeply, and I can’t wait to witness and be a part of their next chapter. Their wedding promises to be as fun and engaging as they are, filled with laughter, love, and plenty of goofy moments.
