Tucked away in the industrial bayou off Ulmerton is a beautiful little hideaway called Jake’s Grotto. Designed and built entirely by the owners, it is a romantic setting on the water without the beach goers walking by in their skimpy suits! It is an idyllic layout with plenty of room for guests to mingle, visit the bar or buffet and dance the night away. Elizabeth & Adam got their dream wedding here and I am honored to be able to capture it. Elizabeth worked very hard on her DIY wedding, creating the frames, tablescapes, guest sign-in and decor. No detail was missed and as beautiful was it was in the sunlight, when the moon came out, the tables and lighting design were gorgeous! To top it all off, they lit paper lanterns and released them into the sky just before racing off for their honeymoon! It truly was a wonderful evening.
